On the "My Insights" page, you can find insights through the search box, or tags filter on the left side of the page. The right pane displays matched results, and you can toggle the list/grid view mode to view, change the sort field (supports sorting by modification time and visits), and ascending/descending order. You can manage insight resources individually or manage in batches. In addition, you can click "Create Insights" on the right to add new insight resources to the portal.
Note: The number of insights you can create is unlimited by default. If your administrator has set a quota, the page will display your quota usage with a progress bar. When the number of created insights reaches the quota limit, you won't be able to create any longer. At this time, you can contact your administrator to increase the quota, or delete some insights to free up quota space.
For insight resources that have been added to the portal, specifically, you can perform the following operations:
- View insight details: Click the insigh thumbnail or name to enter the insight details page. On the insight details page, you can view the basic information of the current insight. In addition, you can click the "Edit Attributes" button to edit the metadata of the insight, "Open Insight" or "Delete" insight. Switch to the "Sharing" tab, you can view/modify the sharing scope of the current insight.
- Edit metadata information: Click the "Edit Attributes" button, you can edit the metadata of the current insight, including the thumbnail, name, tags, and description.
- View/edit insight with DataInsights WebApp: Click "Open Insight" to browse or edit the insights in the DataInsights WebApp. You can also click the "Edit Insight" button on the insights list page to directly enter the editing mode of the DataInsights WebApp.
- Share insight: Sharing scopes include private, public, and specified people. Supports single insight sharing and batch sharing. For detailed introduction and operation steps, please refer to: Share insight.
- Delete insight: Supports deletion of a single insight and batch deletion. For details, see:Delete resources.
