Preview dashboard

MapDashboard supports multi-terminal and independent editing layout, and also supports to select common size or custom size when multi-terminal previewing. You can preview the dashboard application made in the following ways:

Save dashboard

Click the  icon on the upper right of MapDashboard page to save the created dashboard. You can edit the title, label, and description of the dashboard when saving (it).

Click the drop-down arrow on the right side of the Save icon and select Save As to save the current dashboard as a new dashboard application.

Note: The number of dashboards you can create is unlimited by default. If your administrator has set a quota, the page will display your quota usage with a progress bar. When the number of created dashboards reaches the quota limit, you won't be able to create any longer. At this time, you can contact your administrator to increase the quota, or delete some dashboards to free up quota space.

Setting permissions

The saved dashboard is private by default, and only the creator of the dashboard can view it. You can click the Setting permissions button in the upper right corner to set the sharing range of dashboard:

  If dashboard contains maps, data and service resources inconsistent with the sharing method of the dashboard, you can choose to update the sharing permissions of these resources simultaneously when sharing, so that the dashboard can be browsed normally after sharing.

  In addition, you can also change the sharing range of the saved MapDashboard in the "Resource Center", "My MapDashboard".

Publish/Download dashboard

  You can publish the finished dashboard as an online project, and also download the source code to the local to deploy the MapDashboard application offline.
