Create maps with DataViz WebApp

DataViz WebApp provides professional online map making capabilities, which is convenient for users to create maps online and share them with other users for collaborative editing. The browsers supported by DataViz are shown in the following table:

After logging in to iPortal, you can access DataViz WebApp in one of the following ways to create map resources (requires the user to be a "Creator" type and have the role of creating, deleting, and updating maps, such as PORTAL_USER. For the user types and authority division of iPortal, see: Roles, user types and permissions):

• Click "App Center" in the navigation bar of the homepage, and select "DataViz" from the drop-down list to enter.

• On the "Map" page of the "Resource Center", click "Create Map" on the right and select "DataViz".

The basic process of online map creation is to choose a basemap, add layers, set layer styles, output results. You can add layers according to specific needs, such as: Add From Files, Add From Search、Add From Web，Add Marker layers. In addition, you can also perform layer setting, map setting, controls usage, attribute query and editing. In the process of making the map, please pay attention to save the added content in time. After the map is created, please confirm to save it.

Before using DataViz, the portal administrator can go to the Management > Site Configuration > DataViz  page to configure DataViz.
