View GIS hosting servers and the hosted services |
In SuperMap iPortal, after completing the hosted data storage configuration and specifying hosting servers, as the portal administrator, you can view all the hosting servers and hosted services in the portal, and can also manage the hosted services as needed.
Log in to iPortal with your administrator account, click Management > Server Management > Hosting Server, the sub Hosting Server tab lists all the hosting servers. You can view a specific hosting server's alias, server address, and the hosted services. Click a service's name, you will be redirected to the associated iServer to check the service details.
Log in to iPortal with your administrator account, click Management > Resources Management > Services > Services Management, all the services in iPortal are displayed. Note: If the Service Review function is enabled, only the approved services are displayed on the Services Management page. On the Services Management page, the value of the "Hosting service" column shows whether the service is a hosted service.
Click the service name, you can view the service details in iPortal; click the corresponding service URL, you will be redirected to the associated iServer service, and you can start, pause the service in iServer.
If the iPortal service proxy is not enabled, after sharing a hosted service, the original service address will also be exposed to the users who have the permission to access it, i.e., the access permission of the service is out of control in iPortal.
So, iPortal comes with the service proxy function. After the service proxy is enabled (enabled by default), the original service address of the services registered in iPortal (including hosted services) will only be exposed to the service owner and administrator, while the shared users can only see the proxied address of the service, which effectively realizes the access control of the hosted service at the portal level.
The default sharing method of hosted services in iPortal is private, and only the service owner and administrator can change the sharing scope to: public, designated department/group/user. As an administrator, on the Service Management page, click the service name to enter the service details page, and switch to the sharing settings panel, you can change the sharing scope. The service owner needs to enter the "My Services" page to set the sharing settings.
Note: If the user updates the uploaded data, the iServer node that publishes this service will automatically reacquire the updated data and publish the service. While the name of the published service remains unchanged.
