Configuration for each layer of iServer architecture

Feedback

A service in SuperMap iServer consists of three parts, namely the service provider, service component, and service interface (see Introducing Services). Users can configure each part through operating in Web Manager or modifying the SuperMap iServer configuration file (see Configuration file) .

SuperMap iServer supports to automatically configure service instances according to the existing service components (set) and service interfaces. That is to say, when users added (or modified) the service components (set) name or service interfaces name, the alias list of service instances will change accordingly.

Note: You need to refresh the page to display the configured contents when you have configured the service instances or the parts composing the service instances through iServer WebManager. Users can change the settings for detecting the latest version each time they visit the page, saving the refreshing operations. The specific method varies for different browsers. For IE browser, on the Tools->Internet Options->General tab, click the Settings button for Browsing history, and select Every time I visit the webpage for Check for newer versions of stored pages.
