User-managed data stores

You can register the directories of your own databases or data files to iServer to allow the services provided by iServer to access and use these data.

Log in to iServer as an administrator, in the iServer service management page, enter "Clusters">"Data Registration", then you can register the following databases or data storage directories to iServer:

Registering big data file shares: You can register the shared directories on your network, local file directories, HDFS directories, into iServer. The csv files, index files, udb dataset files, and subfolders in the directory can be used for Distributed analysis service.

Registering spatial databases: You can register remote HBase, Oracle, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, MONGODB services to iServer to store your spatial data and use them in distributed analysis service to store the output results. Among them, the registered MONGODB service only supports the overlay analysis job and the single object spatial query job in the distributed analysis service.
