WCS 1.1.2

The WCS 1.1.2 currently supports GetCapabilities, DescribeCoverage and GetCoverage operations. The three operations are required operations. The WCS interface of iServer follows HTTP protocol and supports users sending requests in the way of GET.

• The GetCapabilities operation —— allows to return service metadata from a WCS server and brief descriptions of the data collections;

• The DescribeCoverage operation —— allows a client to request full descriptions of one or more coverages.

• The GetCoverage operation ——allows a client to request a coverage in common format.
